The Real McCoys as they're known around the world, is the creative team of Nelson Cabrera and Sean Mullen. Together, they have forty plus years of international award winning filmmaking experience. This year they've worked with clients thoughout the US, China, London, Central and South America.

Nelson is the founder/EP/director at Cherry Sundae Media. He began his career as an assistant editor, editor, assistant director in NYC and LA, moving up through the ranks of production manager, Line Producer, 2nd unit director with over 40 plus in feature films, episodic TV, movies of the week and TV commercials (imdb credits). Nelson has been directing award winning work since 2004 across 6 continents. A member of the Director's Guild of America and the Screen Actor's Guild since 1987. EFX Supervisor on several motion pictures, including working with the Mill NYC as a director. Fluent in English, Spanish and learning Mandarin Chinese – Plus, he can dance a mean Salsa! International awards include 2 Cannes Lions, 3 Andy awards, 2 Clios, Multiple NY Film Festival awards and 12 Addy's.

Sean is the creative director/partner/director at Cherry Sundae. A graduate of Art College of Design in Pasadena, launched his career as creative director at Foote, Cone and Belding from 1995-2000 writing award winning print and TV commericals defining iconic brands that include Levi's, Nike and MTV. He went on to write and direct music video for R.E.M, Courtney Love and a host of other artist. At around the same time he began writing and directing documentary films. His dynamic thought provoking work is challenging and human. A few notable accolades and awards Sean's work has received include 4 Gold Cannes Lions, an Emmy nomination, 6 Gold Clios, 6 D&AD British Pencils, 12 Andy Awards and his film work is part of the New York Musem of Modern Art permanent collection.

Both Sean and Nelson are adventure seekers. Sean regularly surfs big open ocean swells of Northern California, has raced motorcross and super bikes competitively from the age of twelve and can be found snowboarding chutes of the High Sierras.

Nelson has been flying single engine seaplanes for past 15 years. He's a member of the I.B.A. (Iron Butt Association). The I.B.A. is an elite group of of long distance motorcyclist. Nelson is currently training for the eleven day eleven thousand mile marathon ride that will take him across the North American continent and back known as the 2014 Iron Butt Rally on his BMW 1200gs. Nelson will attempt to go coast to coast this fall 2450 miles in less then 45 hours to set an I.B.A. record.
